Welcome to West Coast Backdrops

West Coast Backdrops was born out of our own need as product photographers for quality, portable backdrops that worked for small studios. When we couldn’t find local options that met our standards, we started sourcing and photographing our own textures.

From our Vancouver studio, we use state-of-the-art printing equipment to craft each backdrop, designed to meet the needs of photographers and creatives worldwide. Our vinyl backdrops make it easy to achieve professional results, whether you’re shooting in a home studio or a busy commercial set, styling flat lays, food photography, or product shots. They capture the beauty of real textures, without the weight, cost, or hassle of physical slabs of wood or marble.

Our backdrops are available in two sizes: 24 × 36 inches / 60 × 90 cm and 36 × 48 inches / 90 × 120 cm. The smaller size is a crop of the larger one, never scaled, keeping everything true to size.

We meticulously source and photograph each surface, capturing lifelike detail with our medium format camera to ensure vibrant, true-to-life colours and stunning realism.

Our backdrops are delivered rolled in sturdy cardboard tubes, ready to use straight away — no flattening needed.
