Return & Refund Policy

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@westcoastbackdrops.com. If your return is accepted we'll provide the details on where the to send the items. Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can make it right.

If your backdrop is damaged, we will replace or refund it. Photographic evidence must be sent to hello@westcoastbackdrops.com within 7 days of delivery.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on custom items, sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can place a new order for the correct item.

European Union 14 day cooling-off period
If your order is being shipped to the EU or UK, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days of delivery.

This right does not apply to custom-made items (such as printed-to-order backdrops). For eligible items, they must be returned unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Refunds
We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if your refund is approved. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
